Loved the traditional Tuscan cuisine and the frescoes in the elegant interiors. Free wifi was a bonus. Baby-sitting, fitness facility, and sauna - so much to choose from!
Couldn't find anywhere to put my shampoo in the small shower. Guess they didn't trust me not to slip!

Hidden Gem in Lido di Camaiore
I had the most delightful stay at this charming hotel in Lido di Camaiore. The hotel's historical charm and beautiful garden created a unique and inviting atmosphere. The optional evening meals were absolutely superb, and the extensive wine list offered something for every budget. The location was ideal, with easy access to Lucca, Cinque Terre, Carrera, and Pisa. The staff, led by the father and son duo, provided exceptional service throughout our stay. The room and bathroom, though on the smaller side, were clean and comfortable. The nearby beaches were just a short walk away, and we were able to enjoy a discount on beach chairs and umbrellas. I highly recommend this incredible, eclectic family-run historic hotel.

One of the highlights was the delicious food served at the hotel's restaurant, with a variety of tasty dishes to choose from.
The room we stayed in was a bit basic and on the smaller side. the bathroom had an old-fashioned design, although it did fit in with the overall style of the hotel.
